Sunday saw a possible club record broken as Bourton and Frankton defeated visitors Stoneleigh at The Field by 133 runs.

Dale Coles was the man at the centre of attention as he notched up a knock of 150, which included 13 boundaries and five maximums and is possibly the highest individual innings in the club’s long history. That impressive stay at the crease led B & F’s total of 264 for 3 with James McDowell and George Smith also getting in on the act with 52 and 50 respectively. Jay Patel’s 2 for 54 the pick of the seven Stoneleigh bowlers used.
In reply, the visitors reached 131 all out at the close, Srinivasan Ananthan making a top score of 34 and Albie Waterton 28 as Mick Waller, Mark Whitehead and Iain Stockdale all took two wickets.
